- Water - 3 cups
- Tea leaves - 1 tsp
- Cinnamon - 1 inch piece
- Cardamom - 2 pods
- Saffron - a pinch
- Lime juice - 2 tsp
- sugar - 3 tsp
Crush the cardamom and cinnamon.
In a sauce pan, boil water and add the crushed spices to it.
When the water has come to a boil, pour over the tea leaves and let it steep for a minute.
Add the lime, sugar and saffron, stir to dissolve.
Serve with hot.
